What a fantastic and gorgeous day. We gathered with volunteers at the office this morning to hand out packets for our poll workers and then I had lunch with Mayor Mallory and the rest of the Democratic team. I whipped out my video camera to capture some last-minute words of wisdom.
I knocked on a few more doors in Mt. Lookout and got a couple more yard signs placed and got a coffee at Lookout Joe. Came home to a vase of two dozen roses leaning up against my front yard tree...not a bad welcome home.
I am so grateful to everyone who has helped me these past 10 months. What a great party we'll be having tomorrow night at FB's. Hope you can join us at the hottest bar in town, 128 W. Sixth Street.
